The End...

Oh yes here we are at the end of regular season of football.  Let me first start by saying how proud I am of our boys!  They both worked really hard and showed a lot of heart!  I love them!

Unfortunately LJ's season ended early as he was injured. While we are still waiting on the MRI results we do know that a small chunk is missing from his growth plate so he will definitely need to be casted for approx 6 weeks.  I am sad that he was unable to play in the last game of the season as they won.  How exciting huh?

Chases team ended their regular season 6-0-2 (Wins - Losses - Ties).  Yup, this means they were undefeated.  How awesome is that?  The last game was the absolutely MOST exciting, heart stopping, nerve-wracking game EVER!

With 9 seconds left in a tied game #1 was able to get through to make the winning touchdown!  It was AWESOME!!!!!

Well I will try to post some pictures later but right now I'm still recovering from that game!  :)

Now we have post season to contend with...

Fighting over a baseball? Seriously??

Okay so who cares if that baseball happened to be a foul ball durning the National League Division Series?  Well obviously some over zelous fans thought it was just the greatest thing since sliced bread.  Me on the other hand?  I was slightly terrified of what was taking place just one seat away.  My husband on the other hand was on the end and had to try and steady a guy that almost fell over.  I was blown away and wishing I could have gotten a picture for you of all the fans pouncing on this ball.  I felt bad for the beer man, he was on the bottom of the pile.

Now to the fun stuff...

We were very fortunate that my husband & brother-in-laws boss was generous to give us his tickets to game to of the National League Division Series!  We got to see our beloved Cardinals swat some Nats.  12-4 Baby!

I think everyone in the United States now knows that the St. Louis Cardinals have the best fans.  Little do people know that we also have the best Mascot EVER (my opinion).  Here are some shots of Fred Bird teasing the police officer that was on duty.

Calling anyone with a cell phone...

My new phone is the LG Nitro!  While I actually love the phone and the 4G speeds I hate the battery life.  Thank goodness one of the store employees taught us a better way to save our battery life or these phones would have had a super short life.

Does anyone out there just LOVE their phone?

P90x? Yes...I think so!

Okay so as of this coming Monday October 8th I will be starting P90x.  I will have to keep everyone updated on my progress!

...

Go Warriors!!!!

I am so excited to share the news that our oldest son LJ's team won yestersay!  This is really exciting because they play some REALLY big and REALLY hard teams.  8th graders come in all sizes and let me tell you we have really learned that over the last few weeks.  We have kids on our team that range from 4'11" to 6'6".  The other teams we have come up against so far have been huge.  I started questioning what they were feeding their kids that we weren't.  Here are some pictures from Saturday's game!

My son is #9.
Look at the size difference.  I am so proud that my son is not afraid to get out there and go against kids twice his size.

Anyway, Sunday we play St. Mary's and we won!  Yes, I know I have said that twice.  This game was a nail biter at times.  We would score then they would score and I was a nervous wreck for them.  I could really tell these boys WANTED this win.  They were so supportive of each other and it was just awesome to see!
